What is the Purpose of WES Evaluation For Going to Canada

Credential evaluation is mandatory for immigrants, especially international students who wish to migrate to Canada. WES evaluation provided by World Education Services or WES is one of the important credential evaluation processes in Canada. World Education Services is a non-profit organization that helps international students to gain recognition for their previous studies outside Canada.

The main purpose of WES evaluation is to provide credentials assessment for international students and immigrants. A WES evaluation compares the education you gained from your home country with that of the education system of Canada. It identifies the Canadian equivalency of your education. A WES report describes each degree, diploma that you have gained and states its academic equivalency in Canada.

A WES report helps the employers in Canada to access your credentials easily, as they may not be familiar with the education system of your country. It also helps academic institutions, licensing boards, and schools to understand your credentials.
